
As a key technology supporting, automotive safety, comfort and environmental issues, application of electronics in automobiles is increasing yearly. Automotive electronics is crucial, and its market continues to grow. In such circumstances, Reed Exhibitions Japan Ltd. launched Int’l Automotive Electronic Technology Expo (CAR-ELE Japan) in 2009. From its first year, CAR-ELE Japan became ASIA’S LARGEST industry event gathering all kinds of in-vehicle systems, components, materials and manufacturing equipment related to automotive electronics.
The first CAR-ELE Japan was held from Jan. 28 (Wed) – 30 (Fri), 2009 at Tokyo Big Sight in Japan, welcoming 224 domestic and international exhibitors with 12,177 visitors from all across Japan and the world.
Organizer and the President of Reed Exhibitions Japan, Tad Ishizumi said at CAR-ELE Japan Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on the first day, “In a recession, all the more CAR-Ele Japan. I hope you will maximize your opportunities here, and we blow away the recession. Through enhancing CAR-ELE Japan, we hope to offer our humble contribution to the development of the industry.” Inspite the situation of economic recession CAR-ELE Japan Show Management has made exceeding efforts to bring visitors to the show. They have invited 500 reputed and qualified engineers to boost business of the exhibitors. Free train tours and bus tours are conducted all across Japan to draw in more visitors.
The CAR-ELE Japan Show Management organized the whole event keeping in mind the special needs of its customers and thus divided the whole show into six zones. Zones are as follows; Automotive Component & In-vehicle System Zone, Automotive Testing Zone – Testing, Inspection & Analysis-, Electronic Component & Device Zone, Embedded System & Software Zone, manufacturing Equipment/Technology Zone and Electronic Material Zone.
The 2nd Int’l Automotive Electronic Technology Expo will take place from Jan. 20 (Wed) – 22 (Fri) again at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan. Along with CAR-ELE Japan 2010, Show Management has announced to launch new expo gathering motors, inverters and rechargeable batteries for EV & HEV, 1st EV & HEV Drive System Technology Expo (EV Japan). For CAR-ELE Japan 2010, Show Management is expecting to welcome 400 exhibitors and 17,000 visitors from around the world.
Along with CAR-ELE Japan and EV Japan, the shows will be concurrently held with Asia’s largest exhibition for electronic design, R&D and manufacturing, NEPCON WORLD JAPAN 2010 including 39th INTERNEPCON JAPAN, 27th ELECTROTEST JAPAN, 11th IC PACKAGING TECHNOLOGY EXPO, 11th INTERNATIONAL ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS TRADE SHOW, 11th PRINTED WIRING BOARD EXPO and 3rd PHOTONICS JAPAN 2010.
